frequently askeD questions

1. how do i book?

Please let me know which type of session you would like to proceed with. Once confirmed, I will send you the PDF document outlining the investment details.

After reviewing the document and confirming your session, I will provide you with a quote. Please note that a 50% booking fee is required to secure your booking.

I look forward to hearing from you.

2. Can we meet before the session?

Absolutely! No matter what type of session you book with me, if you’d like to meet beforehand, I’m more than happy to arrange that.

For weddings, I always prefer to meet in advance so we can go through the timeline for your big day and ensure everything runs smoothly.

3. do you travel or destination sessions & weddings?

Yes, I absolutely love to travel for photoshoots!

For sessions outside of my base location, a travel fee of R5.00 per km (both ways) will apply.

Each wedding investment includes a specific travel range. For weddings beyond the included range, a flat travel fee of R5.00 per additional km (both ways) will be charged.

Please note that this travel allowance does not apply to complimentary engagement or save-the-date sessions included in your chosen wedding package.

Toll gate fees, where applicable, will be charged as an additional cost.

4. How long till I receive the final photos?

I completely understand the excitement and anticipation of waiting for your photos — it’s such a special feeling! That’s why I always work hard to deliver your images as quickly as possible, without compromising on quality.

My turnaround times are as follows:

• Lifestyle sessions: up to 4 weeks

• Events: up to 6–8 weeks

• Weddings: up to 10–12 weeks

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I carefully edit your images.

5. How does accommodation work for your wedding photographer?

For wedding and event venues located more than 100 km from my base in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, overnight accommodation will be required.

The wedding couple or event client is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of accommodation.

This policy applies to both weddings and events.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Of course! I love it when you share ideas for the types of poses or shots you have in mind — after all, these are your photos.

That said, if you don’t have any specific poses, shots, or ideas, don’t worry at all. I have plenty of ideas and will guide you every step of the way.

7. Can you recommend any good locations?

Yes, I can definitely recommend some great locations for your session. To ensure the location fits your vision, I always ask my clients to share the idea or vibe they have in mind — this allows me to suggest the best possible option.

Please note that some locations require a location or permit fee. Any such fees are the responsibility of the client.

8. wHAT DO WE WEAR TO OUR PHOTOSHOOT?
